Love my bilingual grandson who (bless his heart) would put his hands over his ears whenever I tried to speak French to him. “Non, Grandma.” Then he would repeat the French phrase. “Try again.” I’ve tried and tried, but I just can’t nail the French pronunciation… sigh. Meanwhile, my precious granddaughter is bilingual in English and Slovakian! Here’s to Canada – Multicultural, we hope!
